We left Lake Sawyer yesterday morning and made it to Beebe Bridge on the Columbia River,near Chelan, and we got a good spot with some shade trees. All the river spots were taken. This County Park has water and power but no sewer hookups.
After we set up the 5th wheel we took a drive up to Manson,just past Chelan, to the Mill Bay Casino and were really surprised to see an amphitheatre there. http://www.zvents.com/z/manson-wa/deepwater-amphitheater-at-mill-bay-casino--venues--5104385 This is a pretty small venue but there are some great acts playing here....this coming weekend, The Doobie Brothers. Also booked here were Dwight Yokum,Dierks Bentley,Smokey Robinson...some pretty big names for a small place.
Back to the 5th wheel where the A/C had shut off and it was stifling hot. The TV reception is sketchy and there is no internet service. I am currently at a coffee shop called The Vogue in downtown Chelan while Jack washes the truck.
Here until Saturday morning and then over to Spectacle Lake.
