We had a great time at Fort Flagler with Katie,Derek and Madison. Went crabbing and clamming and feasted on seafood, then S'mores over the campfire. Madison really enjoyed watching the Eagle pair through binoculars. The day we went crabbing and clamming was beautiful and sunny. Kind of drizzly and grey otherwise.
We left Fort Flager this morning and headed down the road to our residence for a month at Sequim Bay RV Park. This park is nothing special but it is right across the street from the John Wayne Marina and has full hook ups, wifi, satelite, cable TV and laundry (where I am currently washing some clothes). It is clean and neat and the spaces are pull through and wide enought to park the truck alongside. We heard that the Wayne family still owns most of the land around here. The lady who checked us in to the park scared the crap out of me. I'm sure she would have given the Duke a run for his money if he tried any funny business. She told Jack "read these rules THROUGHLY and sign this waiver" yikes.
Looking forward to exploring Sequim and the real estate in the area.
As I sit here I am reading a bulletin board and this caught my eye about selecting fresh bread:
Bread is delivered fresh to stores five days a week. Each day the twist tie on the bread is a different color so you can tell which day your bread was delivered... Monday= blue Tuesday= green Thursday=red Friday= white and Saturday is yellow
